Biography Born in Bridgeport and raised in Connecticut, I live and work in New York. Extensive writing, teaching, and advertising careers ended when I learned printmaking. Swan’s Way, a book of etchings based on the myth of Leda and the Swan followed, and sketches of natural forms in the Natural History Museum. In 2004, I exhibited silkscreens and lithographs of endangered birds as well as paintings allegedly made by parrot personalities. I conceived of paintings of trees on a graphite- and cement-based medium in 2005. I received a Columbia fellowship, three awards, an MFA (2007), and have had group shows at Andre Zarre Gallery, Leroy Neiman Gallery and Nabi Gallery. A two-person show is upcoming at Nabi Gallery in the spring. |
